Was watching one of the news channels to see if the world was still in one piece and discovered that Junior Johnson had passed away. Remember him being interviewed on a documentary about the history of Nascar some time back and one of the topics being moonshine and hot cars with heavy loads on the back roads of Kentucky and Tennessee. Think that makes Richard Petty and Darryl Waltrip about the last of good old boys left.

Those were the days when racing wasn't all cooperate. Being 88 I would say he had a great run.

He was one of the great ones when racing was just racing, I doubt he liked the circus Nascar has turned into.
