build a rear end, short gear (4.56 or 4.88) slicks, spool or posi. More stall bigger cam, better heads and single plain intake. Throw on the bottle and let er rip. Would be a bad idea to get a set of tubular rear control arms and the extended lower rear brackets to help with the instant center

UPDATE 9-6-13

finally got time to head back down to my local drag strip and make a couple passes everything still setup the same way and trans still isnt repaired yet just a set of welds with nitto 275/60/15 drag radials, quicksilver shifter, and fresh plugs!

capitol raceway! ima advance the timing a few degrees and do some other changes and go at it again next week

I have a 305 that is 30 over in my car, but I don't think I will ever take it down the track. I go to Capital and watch the race sometime, when you taking your car back to the track?
