I just checked Cliff's website and the current wait for a carb rebuild is 12 months! I'm sure that means he does fantastic work, but who has a year to kill for a carb rebuild?

That is a long time to wait for a carb... especially since the warm weather is here now!!!! LOL .

If you're close enough to drive there you can get it done right then and there.

Call Dean Oliver of Deano's carbs for a rebuild. He knows his stuff too, is very friendly, has good prices, and will get it done much much sooner.

Everyday Performance is another good choice. Affordable and knows the E4MC. My 78 403 M4MC carb cost $225 for a custom build with no coating and me sending my carb for him yo build.

Oh yes. I forgot about Ken. I did some buisness with him awhile back when I was very active on a Buick board. Myself and many others from over there have had nothing but good things to say about him and his work/parts. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to Q jets, especially BBB applications.

Any recommendations for a high-elevation Q-jet expert? I live at 6500 feet, and live with #7 on an Edelbrock 1406, but it's still too rich. I just pulled down a 350 with an unknown Q-jet that ran OK but was a little blue at the tailpipe.
