Hey guys, another question for u gbody madmen. I have a 86 monte with a set of 275 60 15 dragradials and when i launch the car, the car squats real well and im happy with how it weight transfers but the problem is that the inner fender lip rubs outside tire wall. It will eventually eat up the tire. How would you guys take care of tht issue? I read ppl will just go to a autobody shop and have in professionaly done. Some spend almost 300 bucks on this rly nice tool, i only imagine ill use maybe a few times.

there are places you can rent the tool for $50.

I rented it and did it over the winter. I ended up only using it to start the roll but used a hammer to really curl it up.

i just tweaked it more recently and hit the metal with a torch and the hammer. got plenty of room now.

Dude we always just would use a wooden baseball bat......just let it roll between the tire and fender.................

thx guys. hopefully ill find time to upload some pictures.
