The special nut is listed as 14002811 and the screw listed as M4.2 x 1.4 x 20 part number either 11504477 or 11504659. You should be able to chase the screws down at a decent hardware store. McMaster-Carr maybe. Good luck and let me know if you need more part numbers to help!

Chrome ones

Black Oxide ones. Apparently either is standard screw thread.

Well nut:

Its screws listed as #13 & #14 I'm trying to track down, unfortunately they dont list a part number for those ones. All though those will be handy for refastening the chrome rails so thanks for finding those links for me (y)

The problem you have is that the stupid parts book just shows the standard parts book group number, yet they don't seem to definitively describe they're the same exact screw you need. At least it doesn't appear that way so far.

Looks like you can get whatever size well nuts you need though through aftermarket sources, so that's a good thing.

Not sure if this will help any, but it's better than nothing. No way you can reuse those long bolts?

They have 60mm and 30mm lengths for not too expensive of a price. Not sure if this is something suitable, however.

#14 on the drawing is 11508060 or 11505226 is the M6x1x30 screw, but it's black oxide. No chrome part number.
Here's 3 on ebay-
https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-...0001&campid=5335822911&icep_item=153741196873

#13 on the drawing is 11505227 is the M6x1x60 screw, in stainless steel/chrome. Replaced by 11504609 in 1990.
Can't find any of those.

Both have torx head styles.

Figured it all out! So the roof rack is internally threaded where the long bolts go though, so i needed to find metric expansion nuts that fit a 1/2" hole
https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-...0001&campid=5335822911&icep_item=231348368543

and I just ordered some new stainless screws from McMaster-Carr to replace everything because some of the smaller screws were not stainless or metric so I wanted everything matchy matchy.

Thanks for the help folks!

Good Afternoon Wagon Lovers! I too am looking for the same hardware but for a '79 which has phillips head screws. Any idea on sizing for them? Thanks in advance.

**Edit** Got some of the hardware out and was able to verify, a 1979 with phillips head screws is also M6x1.0.
