I gave up on ROP as well after several attempt to sign up. I've heard a lot of people complain about this - almost seems like you need a secret knock to be let it or something

Hmmm, ok so it's not just me. I don't understand the reasoning behind approving every member manually, but whatev.

They do it manually to keep spammers from signing up. Trust me, its worth it. They get annoying after a while

That's unfortunately all too true. We've had a similar problem at ClassicOldsmobile.com with spammers. The spambots apparently evolve with the countermeasures.

Also, I've had my email spam checker classify these signup emails as spam and since I don't go through my spam folders, I've missed some of them.

Did you read the: 'Important, Please Read Before, Registering and Posting' section on ROP?

If you read the instructions for registering you must email Russell personally otherwise your account will not get activated. Always good to do a little research/reading if you aren't sure about something...

Ive tried that a couple of times. Still nothing.

It took me a while too. On ROP, it happened out of the blue. I had to login twice, and then I was good to go. Was weird.
