i have a 82 cutlass is there any body that knows the location of the rpo codes

There MIGHT be a couple on the cowl tag, if they were options that required special body mods (std trans, bucket seats, etc). Otherwise, on an 82 (anything before '84, actually) it's going to take the broadcast sheet to get 'em. UNLESS it was a Canadian vehicle..I believe Canadian-delivered vehicles can get vehicle-specific information from GM of Canada.

Yup, your best hope is to be lucky enough to find the remains of one of the build sheets. Most often under the back seat cushion, they have also been found under carpet, above headliners, under front seats and behind door panels.
