I just replaced my plugs and wires on the 85 Cutlass with the 307. It fired up right away and runs ok in park. As soon as I put it in gear, it get pretty rough and begins to shake. Doesn't make sense with just a simple swap. Checked all connections for tight fit and correct firing order.

I went with AC Delco wires and Bosch plugs.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

or you the wires are touching and you have a plug from byway of induction

The one thing I was happy with was that the wires went right back where the originals were with one exception. I noticed the boots to the cap on the originals fit into the round clip on top of dist. The replacements are just held down by the clip. This couldn't have an impact, could it?

if that is the case then lilbowtie is probably right that one plug has a crack in the ceramic. If you have headers take an inferred heat gun and check the temp of each cylinder. If there is any cylinder(s) lower temp then those are the problem one(s)
