It was a sad day here today as the wife & her mother took Levi to the vet for his last trip today. He was with us for 12 & a half years. The vet found other issues that developed that didn't help his health. We enjoyed his time with us which is always too short in our eyes, he'll be missed as he was our "first born". The vets office did do a nice thing by giving us a plaster molding of his paw print. This really is hitting the wife hard as she had to be there for the end as I couldn't be there. Things are going to suck not hearing him bark, nails tapping on the floor, his nose working it's way to your food, not seeing just laying there on his bed. We still have to deal with his toys & other things but it'll wait for a few days. So for the Junior Mechanic is not bothered by his passing as of yet which is nice as I have to support one emotional person. There is no plans to get another dog anytime soon as I'm not sure when we will be ready. I would like to pass a suggestion to others ruled by their four legged bosses, get a Lymes vax for them as one of the issues was from him getting Lymes eight years ago.
