Driving around today and found some of the state roads are already salted, despite no snow threat, no freezing temps, No real reason. Its ths earlest I have sern any roads in my area salted, there is for sure some shady kickbacks going on. Its even going to be in the low 70's all of next week, we only had one night with a frost warning at 38 degrees, too warm for black ice. My state is just going nuts now salting roads at the merest of hint of just frost.

Wow, thought it was bad in WI. So far nothing at least in the southeast part of the state. Most years we get to almost mid November before salting, give or take a couple weeks.

Used to be no salt until Dec most years here in NJ. A couple of years ago an early mild snowstorm in late Nov surprised everyone right as our current governor took office. Every since he has gone overboard with salt and he is still getting worse about it as he stated he wants NJ to be the brine capital of the US.

What part had salt today? It was gorgeous out, except for the am when it was a little chilly. Man he sucks. The only good thing about the kids being home from school is he won’t have to call for a state of emergency for flurries.

Route 38 in Burlington county, probably south of you. That road serms to be trigger happy with salt but never seen them apply it this early before. I would not be surprised if 295 was salted too. It was likely salted because of just a freaking frost warning and we didn't get it anyway.

I washed the underside of the car as soon as I got home but will take it to a car wash tomorrow. Really thought I was seeing things at first. Guess Murphy wasn't kidding about making NJ the brine capital of the country.
