like the others have said, i wish i had a yard like that nearby. nothing but FWD junk around here. and id LOVE to have another box caprice, a box caprice wagon would be sweet too.

Sorry gang, I sure didn't mean to make anyone sad! If anything I wish more folks would get out and save this stuff before it gets crushed. On average they crush in 30-90 days. The plus is there is always fresh stuff....the downside is how many good parts get crushed.

I'm from Texas, was born here, but went through high school in New Jersey, so I can totally relate to how cool these yards are. All my first cars were rusty Jersey cars. I've had rust and Liquid Wrench in my eyes plenty of times.

All I drive is older cars, by choice, and when I moved back to Texas in 1992 the3 first thing I did was go yarding.

how far is san antonio from dublin(texas)?

Nearly 4hrs. Dublin is A LOT closer to Dallas. Tons of good yards like this in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. If you need some places to go, just ask. My wife is from there and Dallas yarding is THE BEST in Texas!

Seeing a yard like that with so many clean cars kind of makes me sad, being from the land of rust. How often do they crush? Did that late '70s Seville have the rear disc brake setup on it?

I honestly don't remember on the Seville brakes. I was running to get through the yard and had a list of stuff I wanted to find before the yard closed. I have a friend with a GORGEOUS '76 Seville and I took that pic for him.

If that '78 GP is still there (doubtful) I wouldn't mind to have seat covers from the buckets! You could part em out or whatever? Worth a try, I'd like to have them. Lol
