Is there anyone who knows where to find out info on a block? I have tried many different sources online, they are all very vague or one tells you one thing and another has something completely different. The only things I know for sure is, it is a high nickel 350ci, 2-bolt main, 2-pc rear main, standard bore 4.001 and stroke 3.480. I am led to believe it is a mid 70's block.

Casting # 3970010 (On driver side behind head on bellhousing)
Partial VIN # 16B599760 (On pass. side in front of head)
Casting Code # K05 15 CMJ
Head Casting # 333882

Heads are your run of the mill 76cc (1.94/1.5)
K05 15 CMJ decodes to being built in McKinnon Plant=K, 05=May, 15=15th, and CMJ is RPO Code...the only things that come up with that code are 74' & 75' police/federal package

Anyone with any insight Please help

This is what i'm getting:

CMJ 1974 350 160 4 t400 police
CMJ 1975 350 145 4 THM 350/400, federal

Yup that's what I came up with too. but the partial VIN points to it being a 76' #16B599760 2nd digit 6=76 I'm led to believe. Thanks for input, always appreciated.
