This might seem like a strange question but do most of the right side mounts that are on the block have the built in or caged nut ? I know its there because of the fuel pump but I just wondered if theyre all like that ?

I just installed a SBC in my Regal a few weeks ago and neither clamshell had a nut, as far as engine mounts IMO I would rather be able to tap a bolt through the mount from the front and put a nut on it than have any issues getting a bolt started on a welded nut and if I am running a mechanical fuel pump like the Regal is I put it on afterwards.

Never seen a Chevy with a welded on or a cage nut. Pontiac yes but never a Chevy
