Bought the motor as a runner out of a scrap car a neighbor picked up. Paid $300 for it as it was. Well i pulled it apart to look it over this is what i found.
Full roller rockers
202 dbl hump 60's era heads according to casting number
Has 30 over domed pistons
Factory fordged crank
X rods
New dbl roller timing chain
Comp cams chromemoly pushrods

Motor looked almost new. I think i made out well now i need to find another project car.

Heck ya man, gotta love finding a jewel. I bought a $250 86 Chevy truck thinking it had a 305, took it out and ended up being a GM crate 350. Took it apart to verify condition and it was like new, no ridge, crosshatch was still in the cylinder bores.

Nice find, don't always find diamonds in the rough, but its nice to when it happens. Gotta find another good G-body to put it in, am I right? Or do I just got the G-body buzz? 😀
