i just follow the instructions on the can, 1/3 in the tank, 1/3 in the oil, 1/3 to put in the carb and flood the engine till it dies with the seafoam in it. let it sit around 10-15 minutes and then run it till the white smoke stops and then oil change and enjoy the clean motor.
 
I'll have to give it a try. I am mainly wanting to clean the carbon crust from the backs of the intake valves & inlet ports.
