Seam sealer / anti rattle substance?

Found this stuff at the bottom of both of my doors. What is it?? It's not bondo, doors have never been wrecked.

No. It's an early type of panel bond. PontiacGP is correct, it is the stuff they squirted on the crash bars. This is what squeezed out and broke off over the years. Vacuum it out of the door bottoms, but don't worry about trying to replace it. If you want to reduce road noise put a couple foot-square patches on the inside of the door skin, then cover the inside of the door in Dynamat. before you install the interior panel.
