Hey all,

I have been asking many questions and selling some parts off a car I bought to part out.
In the process I mentioned a few times that I was building a 383 Stroker.

I just started it for the first time yesterday.
Still lots to do to get it on the road but I'm very happy to know that after spending so much money and time on this and doing the work myself.....it actually runs!!!

Here is a link to the video of my second time starting it.

Sound like you have a good mid to high 11 second combo. Good luck with it nothing like knowing you built it yourself.

I would be happy with high 12's lol.

Your combo in your sig looks sweet. I bet that wagon does well.

The trans is a built 200-4R with around 2800 stall.

You should have no problems going high 12's. Lol
As far as my wagon that combo I'm building it as we type. Lol
I will see hopefully in the next few weeks if and how it will run, I know the nervous feeling when it comes to building and starting it for the first time. This is not my first build but everyone is the same always nervous.

The first time I tried to start the car it didn't start. I couldn't figure it out, I had 2/3 of a tank of gas and had spark, timing should have been close enough to start it.
Turns out the gas needle didn't work and the tank was bone dry. Put some gas in it and boom, it fired right up.
What a relief.

what belt setup is that. looks very nice
