My buddy has a show car . Big bucks invested . IN low gloss black. At shows at least 5 times a week end he gets "so what color you painting it ." Just saying. And has over heard judges say if had other color would have been voted for .

I think the look might work better on older rat rod style cars but for me it just doesn't work on a most gbodies and even though I still wouldn't do it I find I kind of like it on an el camino but they have a style that is unique and far different from the rest of the gbodies.
mine isn't black, it's matte clear over a dusk blue and I get compliments on a daily basis...but I do have one friend who is always asking when I'm going to clear it..

Heres mine in the 3 days it was satin black. I liked the look but after seeing it first person I hated the "non finished" look so I sprayed it gloss.
