I just put an lt1 with 4l60e trans in my monte, anyone know hat cable I could use with the stock floor shifter?

If you have a stock 4 speed shifter and cable, it should work. You will just need to get the cable bracket for the trans pan for your new trans.

Agreed when I did my lt1 swap with the 4l60e I used my old cable and it worked just fine just make sure u use the bracket than came with the 4l60e as stated above

You mean I should use the 2004r pan bracket on the 4l60e?
No. Use 4L60 pan bracket.

My 4l60e has its stock bracket but the cable snaps in place. My 2004r cable is held in place with a metal retainer. Don't look like it would work, have any pics?

Plus the 4l60e cable snaps on to the shift lever where my stock 2004r cable bolts on.
