Shifting

Hello all, Ive just swapped from a Th350 to a 2004R i got it all installed and everything like that but when i drove it hom from the shop the transmission was shifting like a dog it runs right through all of the gears is there any opinions or do i have to adjust the tv cable if so what could be wrong with cable to much slack or to much tension? Thank you all for the help

Check tv cable adjustment. From what I have heard driving with it misadjusted is a quick way to smoke your trans

I would take it back to the shop and tell them to fix it... :shock: ALOT of variables that can affect shifting on a 2004r like the carb, cable, cable bracket, cable adjustment.
