Hi everyone. This question is geared for my 85 Monte SS.

I am considering putting in Eibach Pro-Kit springs since I would like a 1.5 inch drop (car is NOT a track car but it has PLENTY of go with a SBC 406 with 2.10 heads 'AFR's' and biig cam) but I am unsure which springs to go with. I was considering QA1 12 way adjustables front and back but I think that might be overkill for my application.

Do you guys like Bilstein's? Revalved Bilstein's from Sam Strano Performance? I only know suspension stuff for 4th gen camaro's but not G Bodies.

Anyone have any suggestions? Money is not Toooo important but I would LIKE to keep the penny down if I COULD. Coil over's are not an option (those ARE too much if memory serves me correctly) and airbag technology is not the way I would like to go.

So, Eibach Pro-Kit and Bilstein Revalves? Any different combo's you guys like? If so, reasons? Any pictures of your car or any specific car you have in mind with a setup like we are talking about?

Any help would be much appreciated. This message board seems very friendly and knowledgable and I really appreciate everyone taking time out of their busy lives to help a "stranger" out. Being as I am from New York, I am not used to hospitality lol!

I have the pro-kit in my cutlass. Handling is way better. But bumps in the road can be a little harsh sometimes. I have monroe shocks, but would like to get some bilsteins or ac delco heavy duty shocks eventually. Not sure which are better...maybe someone can chime in.

have the hotchkis bilsteins in my monte and they're great. can't compare them to the pro-kit as i haven't driven them, but tons better than monroe or kyb.

I can't say personally, but I have heard that Edlebrock shocks are very good for the g body application. I know next year I will be looking into this as I also have the Eibach pro kit springs and will be rebuilding the front and rear suspension after I get it going.

Thank you everyone for your input. This site rocks!
