hello all so i installed my headers they are long tube i think they are hedman but honestly no clue anyways i am looking for some shorter spark plugs for my 350sbc with straight plugs.

how close are the pipes to the plugs? I have hedmans on mine and the back number 8 plug was close enough that i couldn't put the wire boot on... I heated the pipe up to cherry red and used a hammer and massaged a dent into the pipe so that the plugs fits
I have hedman headers and all the plugs and boots fit. I wouldn't use headers that you had to use short plugs, there is no need to make it difficult
it is only tight on #6 cylinder i mean i can fit the wire on i would just feel safer having a short plugs plus the heat shield on the boot
