I guess this particular car wasn't meant to be. Take that as an omen. Find something cleaner and possibly more original. Something that hasn't been dicked around with too much. That could be a plus or minus depending on the capability of the current owner. Keep looking, you'll find something that that will appeal to you.
Frankly, it looks like an overpriced POS.
