i ran flat black with white wheels on my super stock for a long time

I ran 4 cyls for part of the year this year, equally hot, with gloss black

Yellow looks awesome, There's a guy that drives around with an 84' cutlass its yellow with big fat tires on it and a HUGE black hood scoop, it has stickers all over it and I believe a 383 stroker.

Flat black is too young cheap redneck if you ask me. Yellow can be tough if you have sound and chrome.

I would go with gloss white. Flat Black is getting a bit played out. Plus, white will hide flaws and it always looks good. I like white for my pizza delivery cars for that reason. It is also good in the summer as it will reflect heat well. Add some dark window tint, and a set of gold WS6 snowflake rims (the deep dish ones) or 4 front T/A GTA 16x8's, and it would look pretty good.

If I was going to go with yellow I would use the yellow they use on the new Camaro, it has a bit more of an orange tint to it. However i would still break it up with some black. Just make sure the body work is perfect, other wise the slightest flaw will show.

I have actually been thinking about that combo for my '80, though for now it will just get a flat black finish to hold me over. I have to much body work to do on it for now.

Keep the yellow.

I still like the Rallye 350 look.

If you think there is too much yellow, a 78/79 Hurst Olds paint scheme in Flat black/yellow would look cool.

Maybe combine the Rallye with Hurst look by painting the bumpers yellow.

Do the uppers is flat black and lower keep yellow.

Add some 15/16 or even 17" black soft 8s and it would be killer.

theres a bright yellow with black stripes 78 or 79 cutlass running around town. ill try to get a pic next time i see it.
