Personally I love the look of the 83' Hurst Olds. If you add the silver on the bottom you should go all the way with the H/O decals. To do it right you would need the front air dam. You already have the desirable sand grey interior. Your car does look nice as is but it is a lot of black....Only you can decide. Going with a stock theme is always safe whether that means chrome trim or the H/O graphics.

It's your car, your $$, your time. Do what you like. Sure, it's good to get input, but you make the final call because you gotta own it.

Now, my OPINION? I would just put the chrome along the bottom sides, wheel wells, and windows and leave it. The chrome would break up the black, and the bottom chrome would flow with chrome rims nicely. Kinda like this, but without the pinstriping.. (I edited out the door ding strips, and I would leave the rocket emblem on the door.. didnt edit out the pinstripes as you can barely see them)

Kinda stock but not stock, I guess you could say..

I think a silver pinstripe could help break up the black just enough. You put the time and work in for that deep shine, might as well show it off. That's just my thoughts. But do what makes you happy.

I know how you feel.

When I look at mine I feel like it is "missing" something.

Just the solid black with nothing to break it up.
Exactly. When I put new doors on , I couldn’t bring myself to drill holes in them for the mouldings that were jacked up anyway , so I took them all off

I broke it up a little with some flat black emblems and I plan on putting a flat black pin stripe on this spring

Can’t find that air dam anywhere . I wanted one . I like the monte ss rear spoiler. The lay down one . That’s the thing with a resto mod . You can do anything you want .
