Sick 1987 GN build

I've seen your stuff. (watched the videos of your improvements). Surprised to read your statement calling Roadster Shops work 'hackery'. Where would you rate your efforts?
That’s a pretty low blow Scotti and you don’t even know me. I’m curious which videos you’re referring to that show the improvements I made to my car? Sure I did an LS swap… Big deal. Everyone does them nowadays. My car still has all of its virgin sheet-metal intact with no cutting or as I called it “Hackery”. It’s clear you got butt hurt over my comments. That wasn’t my intention. There are many GN builds out there that are better than this one….. I certainly have the money to do a build like this but have no desire. The owner of this car obviously thinks that these mods will make it more desirable. If I saw that car at a car show I would just think to myself that it’s another hacked up GN. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion. Chill out bro. 🤪

Or.... You should take a step back & "chill out bro"? I wasn't attacking you & have no need to. You have a clean ride & I dig it.

I stated "I'm surprised to read your statement". I watched your videos & I liked the content. I've read through your 'Lightning Rods' posts. Knowing what it takes to get things right, seeing you try to get things right, & doing things to achieve your vision. 'Hackery' seems to be the wrong word for describing the work Roadster Shop is doing to that car. I'm not commenting harshly on your efforts. I merely asked where you would rate your efforts to understand more about your hackery statement. You did that in the response:
My car still has all of its virgin sheet-metal intact with no cutting or as I called it “Hackery”.

I get it. It's not what YOU like. But, your opinion rates equal to mine in this scenario.
You dislike the sheet-metal mods. The owner of that car would seem to be ok w/them. I'm ok w/sheet-metal mods to a certain point.
You did an LS swap. They did an LS swap. I still run SBC's.

I don't see any 'hackery'; just mods.

You have the money to do a build on this level but wouldn't. I wouldn't spend the money to do a build of this level because I wouldn't pay a shop to build it. I's unlikely I can match the build quality w/my current provisions/sources/space but I build my stuff how I want it just like you.

I say this is similar to what Texas Metal is doing with John Cena's car, where the purists are going crazy cause they used a rare model to do tons of mods. I agree for the most part to use the less rare vehicle to make major mods but if you already have a good clean car then i can see why you wouldn't want to chance getting something that isn't cause of the amount of work it will take to fix it

Looks at his junk and cries.

hello people: Is that car done? I did not see it.
IBBY
I don't believe it's finished yet. Most likely it will be done this year as far along as they were on the last updates (which always run behind of actual progress).

I'll admit I'm not to crazy about this build either but atleast it's not like what I saw when Unique Whips was on Speed when Unique Autosports took a brand new Challenger & sawzalled the wheel openings & used spray foam to add on wild body wheel flares.

Wut? Why?!

Cause the celebrity customer whated it custom & they said they could do it but didn't include the fact it was going to be hack-hack all they way. They even did a spray can recolor of the writer Ton Wolfe's Caddy when he wanted a all white interior. This place was the Pimp My Ride for celebrities.
