How much would you sell the Olds to another board member for?

oh I agree ... GM did a lot of tacky things ... In my opinion the "ricer" look is nothing new. GM started it with the GTO Judge. Tasteless graffics and plenty of non-functional plastic (yeah I expect some flaming from Pontiac fans). Friend of mine has a 67 GTO convert - I keep telling him we need to open that scoop and build a RAM air out of it.

It's not just GM - all brands were guilty of it... the Mustang probably being the #1 offender.

I have to defend the Judge though - while I can see why it's tacky to many, an orbit orange 4-speed '70 Judge is my dream car 😀 Could have something to do with growing up in a '70 Rallye 350 though that draws be to the "louder" colours 🙂

I don't mind the orange ... it's the technicolor spew "eyebrows" and the big spoiler that put me off .... I know it's destroying the value of a collectible but repiant the body sans the stripes, no spoiler and make all the scoops functional, tweak some real power numbers out of the Poncho .... then I'm impressed with The Judge.

I actually like the striping, but I agree it is a bit tacky 🙂 The spoiler is huge, but I think the Olds spoiler is too small - something in between would probably be nice. Functional hood scoops were optional on a GTO I believe, but on a Judge they were functional:
