do you have to have a cage to put these in? i really want a pair for 2 reasons. one is for the safety factor, second is because the look cool as hell resting on your seats. i do not want to put a cage in it, i think they are over doing it for a street car.

You don't have to have a roll bar to mount a 5 point harness. They have them so you can mount to the floor or rollbar. Here is the summit page that lists both kinds
