SITE DISPLAY ISSUES - ONGOING THREAD

I figured out why I was seeing something different from the rest of you. Now we're all on the same page and yep, its pretty messed up. I have to try a few things and do some research as to what actually happened. Hopefully I don't have to rebuild the customizations from zero again.... but its a big possibility. Stand by. The site may get worse before it gets better.

well that was fun. I put it back to a semi-busted state instead of completely broken.... Going to try a few more things now that I can work with a version you all won't see (!) first.

got a bunch of it worked out. Still having trouble getting the front page slider to work properly. It looks like most everything is more or less normal. Please reply in this thread if you're still having display issues, see something missing (besides the front page slider!) or even if your display problems are fixed (or not....) curious to know where it stands.

The user, conversation and watched thread icons have moved to the top left, in the PC view. Didn't I used to be able to batch upload photos by making multiple selections, holding down the shift or ctrl buttons?
These items are non existent for me.

I don't remember about the upload. I don't think the attachments ever worked that way, but I could be wrong.

Seriously, @truracer20 you don't have a "user bar" at the very top of the page? It should be black, about 40px high and have your username, an e-mail-ish icon and a flag on the right side. Do you run any kind of "script blocker" or otherwise have javascript disabled? Did it just start when I broke stuff? You might clear your cache and see if it fixes it.

the slideshow on the front page won't display properly still. It looks like the style update introduced a show-stopping conflict between javascript libraries or something that I can't find. 😡😡

and now the flow of the thread page is messed up after the middle ad section.... well that's great.

My page looks like this:
