The Olds 307 sounds just as mean as any other Olds V8. I ran a 307 Y with 1 5/8" full length headers and duals with glass packs. Sounded awesome till you had to drive it any distant. With the no interior in my 78 1/2 ton, it was awful.

I'm gonna have to agree here. I have no problem with loud and obnoxious. But I hope the "loud and obnoxious" part is enhancing an engine worthy of the note.
