I pulled the huge old 79 Buick Electra Limited out for some exercise since the weather is so pretty..

There comes a certain point in every man's life when he realizes the world has changed....and he doesn't quite understand it anymore. I had that moment on my way back to work from lunch today....

WOW you could fit one of those little death traps in the trunk  The world is defintely upside down thats for sure.Glad to see such a clean example of a REAL car (with steel bumpers even  ) stilll on the road.

Yeah OPEC and Exxon vote me household of the year. Between the 79, my Roady wagon, and the Cutlass my gas cards are so hot I can barely put them in my wallet. ; )

Thanks for the comment on the Buick. It just rolled over 50K miles.

Gorgeous day and supposed to be a gorgeous warm weekend too. I pulled out the wash bucket and backed the 79 Buick Limited out and gave it a really good bath. Also took pics of the nice bright hood ornament I scored off Ebay for it.

Kinda neat seeing both BIG Buicks shining in the driveway. That's got to be a little weight on my driveway, hope it doesn't crack the pavement! :!:

I decided to exercise the '79 so I drove it into work today, and am planning to drive it to the Saturday evening cruise-in tomorrow. It's such a nice old car! I'd not driven it since Christmas, but I pumped the gas twice and the 403 kicked over and idles smooth as glass. The hood of that car looks SO LONG from the driver's seat, and everything is so soft and comfy. I love the old thing.

I've got to drive up to Dallas on Sunday so I'll save the Roadmaster for that run. Going to have a little fun with the '79 bomber!

Enjoy the pics gang!

Why does that lot make me think of iRobot?

BTW, nice deuce! I've always liked the two doors B-bodies.

Well since you guys seemed to like those I thought I'd go on post these too. They're older pics but still funny!

Some good pics from work.

So I parked the '86 Caprice next to my co-workers new Smart car. I love this. Which would you feel safer in??

These are not trick pics. The rear bumper of the Caprice and the rear bumper of the Smart were perfectly lined up. Ha! My co-workers were cracking up. Wish I'd had the Roadmaster there, it's even longer than the Caprice. ; )

Get Smart-er??

Next someone else at work got an even funnier-colored Smart and I could not resist some pics with my wagon.

Keep in mind the front bumpers are lined up perfectly. ENJOY!
