Been a while since I've taken any pictures that weren't of the car just poking out of the garage. Well, here's some I took on my excursion to the end of the driveway...

Looks good Blake

man my friend has a blue one that has some rust issues but he wont sell it. it has a 350 rocket in it that is overheating because it needs a radiator. He has kids so when this one gives out because he keeps driving it like that and has to get another car I told him I am coming to get it.

Got a nice 442 for sure. How many miles does it have?

Thanks for the complements everybody!

It has just over 128,000 miles on it at the moment.
I bought it in '01 with 104K on it, and blew up the 307 and put in a 350 at 118K in '02, then in '07 I put in the 455 at 126K.
It was painted sometime in the '90s by one of the previous owners.

Hey Blake, nice 442!

I see you mentioned it has been painted. What type of stripes are used? NOS or the ones from Phoenix?

The car didn't have any of the stripes on it when I bought it, so I got a set from Phoenix Graphics.

I tried to get a set of NOS stripes a few years ago when my pockets were deeper. Unfortunately, they're weren't deep enough...

Whoever painted the car did not break off the two tone in the correct places, so the stripes don't line up perfectly. It also doesn't help that the stripes were put on by myself when I was only 17 and still rather green, not to mention how baked I was. Good times...

Still, they came out nice in the photos . . . I couldn't tell the difference.

I guess the Phoenix stripes is what I'll go with. I managed to find 90% of the original stripes (for black) still in the GM boxes a few years back, but i sold them. Even the nicest NOS stripes I could find were starting to separate from the backing tape in many places. I'm sure I could have gotten them to work, but didn't feel like it at the time. I sold the stripes for about $700 two years ago.
