From a stop, if you simply floor the gas pedal, it will boil the right rear tire all the way through first and second gear...
Hopefully that will be remedied soon with the addition of a Posi carrier.

I hate that car...
i drove my grandads 64 galaxie once,this beast was a sleeper,foor door,greenish blue,white lines and hupcaps(two anyway,the front ones fell off!)and...a 390 4bbl thunderbird v8,auto and 3.00 gears,posi.This car is a real necksnapper,trust me.Anyway I took it for a ride once and i stopped at the stop sign,waited for traffic to clear,not even preloading it i floored it all the way to the floor and it did a good 35 foot two tire fire burnout.I'm a gm guy,but those cats at ford knew how to make cars!
