SNOW TIRES

I just use all season radials. Don't drive the cutlass in the winter, but my dad uses Futura GLS's (rwl pepboys tire) on his fairmont (fox body, probably the closest to a cutlass that gets driven in winter) in the winter. It gets enough traction to drive through anything he needs to; up to and including 1' of snow. You can't drive like you're in a rally race, but they work fairly well on that car. Also, they allow you to lose traction when wanted... An added bonus. 🙂

Turna I paid about $60.00 each, mounted and balanced, new valves. I gotta tell ya, with those monsters, posi traction, and a four speed stick, my car goes anywhere I want it too in snow. Of course ice trumps all unless you have chains or studs (illegal in NYC).
