snug mount alternator

Was wondering if anyone has ever ran or tried to run a snug mount alternator bracket? The one I'm looking at would mount low on the drivers side. Powermaster has a nice looking kit but I don't want to pay 350$ if it won't fit. Also I'm looking at a mini alternator set up I don't know if that has any affect on it or not.
