and you can do this welding at home, although this one didn't work out. I haven't seen this before so have anyone here done this type of welding?

 
One of the reasons I looked up how they weld tracks is because they are wasting our money on an LRT and I was wondering how they will join the tracks. I just read in the local paper there is no one qualified in canada to weld the tracks and they have to get a crew from the US to do it. I find that mind boggling that after they had the plans for this years ago that no company trained any crew to handle the job..
