Spare wheel well

Has anyone cut out the spare tire well and covered it up or used it for something else? Have any pics? What did you use to cover up the hole? Sorry for the barrage of ?s....I've already cut mine out because it was rusted out but I'd like to weld something over it to cover up the hole...

When I carpeted my trunk i cut a piece of thin plywoodto shaoe and covered it with the same carpet, I like it because i can just throw stuff in there and not worry about it rolling around. A good use for it is either the battery or even a nitrous tank if your racing 8)

that's has to the coolest dumbest thing.cool if you wanted a second tank dumb if you would use it for your main tank.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys....3x browncutty, I like your style, that' s clean...I don't think I'll be using for a gas/nitrous tank anytime soon, though that would be cool for a stealth setup (and about as safe as a Pinto, lol..)

I dont have pictures of mine but i cut mine out and covered it with metal and put my battery in the trunk in that corner. My friend has his nitrous bottle mouted in the tire well. I like it covered myself seemed like a useless space to me.

Mine will be used for relocating battery when I install a dual air kit. Will reshape the areaso its flat.
