Stock gen4 rods with stock rod bolts are capable of big power. Not great for big RPM (7k+) but otherwise good.

This ^^^ I agree with. If a stock Gen 4 rod will handle 1000hp, then why buy these chinesium knockoffs that are substandard to a stock rod? If you're making more power than that, then I'd be looking at a set of Oliver's.
 
Speedmaster79 is the new/old name for Pro Comp. Speedmaster started life in Sydney, Australia in 1979 as a speedshop. It developed in to Pro Comp Electronics and then moved into every realm of speed equipment. All of it made in China....do your due diligence on google before commiting to buying those rods.....type the word "problem" into the same search.....
