where are these located i changed my gears to the 3.08 and should have this but not sure where it's located

where your speedo cable attached to the transmission remove the housing for the gear that is held with a clamp that's held in place with a 10mm bolt. When you remove it transmission oil will pouring out

you can use this to figure out what you need to get it accurate

and you can find out what drive gear you have by looking at the color of it when you have the speedo gear out

Depending on what drive gear you have it may be necessary to replace that as well as the driven gear.

I just looked at my 700 and th350 and the tail housing looks identical except that the 700 is longer (it's a th350 with electronic lockup and CBOP bellhousing, if that makes any difference)

tailstock is common term for the rear housing
