Whats the factory spline count on the 7.5, and do you guys know if it has c-clips. Its my 86 regal with 2.14 ratio open diff.

cool thanks for all the info, I wanted to know because there's this posi unit from an s10 on ebay. It is a series 3 carrier though, would that still work?
Make sure it not a 7.625 posi some s10 where equiped with them because they use 28 spline axles but will work in a 7.5 as long as you buy 28 spline axles.
