Can anyone with Malibu sport mirrors give me a measurements for the passenger side placement?
My door was drilled for it but didn't come factory(no inner backer) and I'm wondering if it's in the right spot. At this point it would be easy to delete.

I suppose you can take similar measurements off of the left side and transfer them on the right.
I do remember having to re-drill the right door for a sport mirror, but don't remember how I actually went about it. Try mocking it up by removing the studs and having someone hold the mirror in place while you sit in the car. Just a suggestion.
You also might want to add a piece of metal inside the door as a brace for the mirror....that's if there's no existing right side mirror reinforcement.

I personally would just fabricate a support bracket for the passenger side once you verify the location of the mirror.
I feel deleting side mirrors is not an option since IMO it is a safety issue.

Wraith, I went out to my shop and measured mine they are both 13 1/2" from the front of the door to the front of the mirror base. Straight line hope this helps.😎
