Found them on ebay and purchased them because they are the only ones I can find that are suppose to lower the car 2 inches. I figured out why nobody else sells this drop, at least that I can find. If you jack the car up support it on the frame and let the rearend "droop" they fall right out. You could limit this by installing a shorter shock which isn't really the way to go but it's better than nothing. At a free length these springs are over 6 inches shorter than the stock ones. I understand the don't compress as much, but HOLY S#$T! Once on the ground these things look more like a 3-4 incch drop to me and I don't have the tailgate to the wagon on or the interior in it yet. My question is has ANYONE else used these springs? Are you happy with them? If not who has acheived a 2" drop and how did you accomplish this?

HOLY $H!!T

6 inches shorter uncompressed??????

:worthless:

Pics

I am just getting ready to leave town for the weekend. I'll try to post pics when I get back. I can't get accurate measurements because there are no doors, interior, tailgate, rear glass, or even the engine in it yet. But I will show pics with stock springs and these aftermarket ones. Installed and in free length form. The drop seems way too much to me. But I think maybe the fronts (not installed yet) might be OK. Running the Pontiac 400 will be more weight than the chevy small block they were designed for and I think these springs are a little stiff. May be about right for the extra Poncho weight?

You should have asked here before you bought them... That company is CRAP! I got the same things and the fronts springs actually lifted up 3" and the rears were waaaay to short.

But don't waste your time. Send them back, file a Paypal complaint, get your money back.

Then buy the 2" OPG drop spings.

we have been VERY patient...

WHERE ARE OUR PICS??!?!?!?!

these are the same springs I was talking about in my post a few weeks back

The rears seem way short to me as well with a freelength of 9.5", my body is off the car right now so its going to be a while before I can check the installed height, I'm interested to see what the deal is with them.
