Just something to get some information on, but has anyone on here heard of Oldsmobile coming out with a 81-88 Cutlass with a manual transmission? I have a friend of mine that converted his 87 442 from auto to stick and thought that it was pretty cool but it got me to thinking and i haven't found anything in regards to GM making a car like this factory :blam: . Is there any one out there that can help and if so, does anyone know were one is for sale with pics? Lmk, thanks

The only factory cars that you could get with a manual were the '78-'80 models. '81-'88 were never offered with the manual however they are easily converted.
In fact, the firewalls didn't really change so they still had the provision for the clutch rod through the firewall. The hole was just used for the cruise control harness in the later years.

oh ok well cool. do you happen to know were a 78 2 door is as a 3 or 4 speed? I like that body and would really like to say i own a standard shift Cutlass, Lol.
