Tried to stay my car the othe day and Flexplate started grinding with the starter. Mind you I had his issue before, prior to switching from a after market back to the stock Flexplate. Long story short tans and flex plate broke and I put back on the aftermarket one and it was back to grinding. Anyways, I’m a fit of rage I decided to pull the Moe and trans. Highly considering going fuel Injected.

lol so when I first got the motor built it was an issue. After literally 8 starters 4 flex plates and all the forum research and people looking at it (2 local shops included) I put a stock flexplate and starter from an early corvette and got it tuned, which then resolved the issue. As of recent I put a posi rear end and was enjoying it when I broke that flexplate and cracked the transmission. So I figured since I had a Slightly worn I just put that on when I replaced the transmission. Which caused the grinding again. I was going to pull the motor to repaint and repaint the engine bay. The starter issue just gave me the needed motivation.
