steering column is "wiggly"

hey guys my steering column has alot of wiggle to it, was wondering if anyone could diagnose it before i tear into it

sounds like the tilt mechanism is loose. Youll have to tear it most of the way down to get to the four bolts that are the culprit and throw some red loctitie on them. Heres a link to show you the process.

oh by the way i had an mkIII but i sold her and i regret it to this day, man i loved the targa top!!
