steering shaft upgrade?

anyone ever use a GMC Syclone steering shaft instead of the jeep one. I can't put a dodge part in my chevy... just doesn't seem right!

I know it's not the cheap route but I made my own using a Borgenson collapsable shaft and and their universal joints on each end. I think it was about $150 -175 for everything. You cut the shaft to fit your car (very easy set up though)and it really tightened up my steering.I know Flaming River and others sell comparable parts, for me I like to know that the parts steering my car will hold up to racing.
