guys, couple things: since the car is all apart, figured to get the steering wheel/components/wiring redone- who does this that anyone knows?
Also, in thinking about a tilt wheel swap, my car being a 4 speed, would I have to find a 4 speed tilt, or can an automatic tilt be bought and reworked by a pro to accomplish this? Thanks much

You can use an automatic tilt. Simplest swap is from a console shift car, so you won't have to remove the lever. You may need to cut off the linkage tab at the bottom to make clearance for the clutch linkage.
You won't have the lever to keep you from removing the key and locking the steering wheel while you are rolling. If you thought losing power steering while at speed was scary!

Ok, but not sure I understand. You mean that push lever when taking key out won't be there in this unit and that obviously is a safety hazard? If I were to pick a column shift tilt up, any ideas of where to send it for the swap to be done correctly? Never did anything on steering before is my concern, thanks
