Ok guys I have a 1984 Hurst Olds the problem I'm having is the car wants to drift side to side now I have all new suspension on the car 2in dropped spindles tubular a arms from global west new tires had the gear box rebuilt and put a new steering shaft on that I purchased from one of our members. The front tires are 225 60/r15 BF Goodrich radial ta"s the backs are 255 60/r15 the tires are new also, had the suspension professionally aligned and checked out and had the tires high speed balanced on the rims. I know its not a new car but I think it should be a lot tighter than what it is any suggestions?

what is your caster setting..if it's not enough positive caster then the car will tend to wander. The stock setting in +2.8º +-1º

Not sure of the caster but I did have a very well known guy set up the front end in fact he does a bunch of the Caughlin guys cars up in Columbus Ohio. Never had a problem with any of my cars that he has aligned in fact they bring there cars to him here in Dayton Ohio he is well known for doing a lot of the drag cars throughout Ohio, besides doing alignments on regular cars.
