So Im going to be building some lower control arm mounts, but need to make some changes (hence not just buying them)

Guys with stock ride height cars, can you measure your lower trailing arm angle?
iPhones have an angle finder in the compass or measuring app

Will these have the shock mount bolts welded at the right angle? I bought some of those speedway single bolt lowers and they just use two 90 degree angles. The g body lowers use a 100 degree bend on one leg and an 80 degree bend on the other so the shock doesnt sit perpendicular to the LCA bolt hole, it sits 10 degrees off. It physically bolts up but really torques the bushing over hard.

I'm stock height so I can grab something.

Can you illustrate the 80* and 100* angles. Im not picturing it.

As far as a shock mount I could come up with anything, I made a swiveler mount for my last 9"

Check out the shock mount on this birdcage. No bind in any direction

DCA Racefab makes them for circle track supply.

I know all of the different ones out there I just need mine to be a bit different

Yeah that currie part illustrates what I am talking about. The shock bolt can't be perpendicular to the control arm, it has to have that wedge in place to align right.

I see what you were saying about angles now, that swiveler is nice because it rotates so any shock angle as viewed from the rear will not effect it, and since the bolt for the shock eye is mounted roughly parallel to the axle tube any articulation in the rear will not result in a bind, especially if you have a bearing end on your shock

Well let me know what you come up with.

I need a set as well!!!

Any luck? I forgot about it myself?
