Just wondering if anybody here had issues using stock manifolds on a sbo 350. the passenger side manifold seems to clear the floor board/tunnel by just a few inches. Will I have to wrap it with heat wrap or will it be ok left alone? Just curious...thanks

You will be fine. There are some people who run headers that have less than an inch clearance with certain parts of the car and have no problems. Keep in mind your 350 is no different than a 307, so they should be sitting in the stock location.

Yeah, I knew that since this car was available with a diesel 350, the manifolds would have proper clearance. Im just wondering if the more modern engine (1985) had a different shaped manifold made to fit a Gbody compared with the 1970 model. Maybe if I can find a dual exhaust manifold, which should be a bit shorter?
Thanks!
